Testing Myself at Tickle 13 Times February 28, 2008

Filed under: thursday thirteen — MultiPurposeWoman @ 10:07 pm

You can tell a lot about a person by the tests they take. I’ve taken the following 13 free tests at Tickle between 9 July 2007 and tonight. It was interesting, educational, and a rather random way to spend time.

  1. What’s Your Fame and Fortune? My short answer: Scientific World — new information for me

  2. The Brain Test. My short answer: Left-brained, Visual Learner — I knew this yet reading how they scored each question was fascinating.

  3. What’s Your Eating Style? My short answer: Circumstantial Eater — I need to review the report that came with this test. I think I can deal with it now and use it for good.

  4. Are You Millionaire Material? My short answer: Millionaire Material Medium Low — I have new thinking since I took this so I’m going to eventually retake it. I will make the millions!!

  1. Which Executive Are You? My short answer: Art Director — I have no/low aspirations to do the JOB. Yet I see their point.

  1. What’s Your Secret to Success? My short answer: Balancing Skills

  1. What’s Your Signature City? My short answer: Seattle

  1. Your Gender Identity? My short answer: Feminine focus

  1. What’s Your Perfect Workout? My short answer: Pilates – I haven’t tried it yet

  1. What Fashion Decade Is Most You? My short answer: 1950s — it’s true, I buy 50’s dresses and jackets from a local shop called Elizabeth’s. They’re my favorite clothes

  1. How Should You Indulge Your Senses? My short answer: Little Personal Time — I do seriously love solitude.

  1. What’s Your Fantasy Home? My short answer: Nurturing Nest
    Taken: Jul 9, 2007

  1. What Drives You? My short answer: Curiosity — so very true

13 things I’d like to change about myself February 22, 2008

Filed under: thursday thirteen — MultiPurposeWoman @ 8:37 am

1. I’d like to be less fearful. I think I have a chemical imbalance that makes me afraid when most people would just be a bit concerned.
2. I have to lose 20 pounds.
3. I’d like to be more confident. I’m really not “un”-confident yet most people seem to be “more” confident than I am. I usually chalk it up to my perfectionist tendencies yet sometimes that just sounds like an excuse. I must admit that I think most people think too highly of themselves. I see people daily who are just not as fabulous as they seem to think they are. Do I want to be one of them? Maybe I do – at least once a week.
4. I’d like to think less. At least one time a week.
5. I’d like to be more money motivated.

6. I’d love to be less of a perfectionist.
7. I’d like to be bolder, wilder, crazier (yet not CRAZY).
8. I’d like to be less passive.
9. I’d like to be at least 100% more organized.
10. I wish I were not a Renaissance Soul.
11. What would I give to be 15 years younger? A lot IF I could remember some of what I’ve learned in the past 15 years. Not a damn dime if I couldn’t remember most of what I’ve learned.
12. Wouldn’t it be nice to be too sexy for ?? I don’t know – maybe my age. Yes, I’d like to be too sexy for 44.
13. I want a better memory. (I’m working on it.)

Actually the above is a partial lie. I like being me. It’s just that it’s easier being me when I work it out to be alone. If I changed all the 13 above things I’d be someone else and then no one would be me and that is not something I want. I could change 1/2 or 1/4 and increase my health and happiness AND still feel like me. That’s a plan.
